Satisfaction and tragedy

Four Zoroastrian youths from Kerman, Iran met a tragic end while swimming in the Caspian Sea on August 29, 2008, notes a posting by the Zoroastrian News Agency. Sam Bakhtiari, Nader Novzari, Nima Goshtasbi and Farshad Zaeem were members of a tour arranged by the Zoroastrians of Kerman who were visting Koushk-e Varjavand complex in Ramsar.
The same ZNA Digest notes that the original name of the street next to the Zoroastrian complex in Tehran has been restored by the municipality. Kaikhosrov Shahrokh Street, named after the redoubtable Zoroastrian who had been member of the Iranian Majlis in the time of the Shah, had been renamed Shahid Ahmad Baig Street during the Iran-Iraq war, states the ZNA, adding, "Now that the changes have happened, it is funny to learn that one entry of the street maintains the old name and the other entry has the reinstated original name.”
