TPZA's jashan

A Dae mah jashan was organized by the Thana Parsi Zoroastrian Anjuman (TPZA) at the Seth Rustomji Cawasji Patell Agiary on the evening of June 1, 2008. After the jashan a function was held in the Agiary compound at which Ervad Nadir Modi, chief guest and main speaker enthralled the 220-strong audience with his informative talk on "Daily Zoroastrian living for health, happiness and success,” as per a write-up received by Parsiana from TPZA. The 90-minute talk was followed by a question-answer session, which Modi handled to the satisfaction of the querists.

Zarsis D. Udhnawala, president of TPZA, presided over the function along with Pervez B. Bhesania, vice-president, Bomi R. Boyce, trustee, Kaizad M. Billimoria, secretary and Jimmy Guard, treasurer of the Anjuman. Shernaaz Boyce felicitated Modi while the youngest volunteer, Russi Boyce offered a vote of thanks, reveals the write-up. The function concluded with a dinner provided by caterers Ketayun and Bomi Khambata.
