Carrom champion

Bomi Gandhi won the Champion of Champions Trophy donated by Rumi Tatary and his wife at the 35th All Parsee Open Carrom Tournament. The competition was held under the auspices of the Captain Colony Recreation Centre in April 2008, as per a press release from Adil Tarapore of the All Parsee Carrom Organising Committee.

In the Open Singles, Gandhi prevailed over Piran Master. In the Open Doubles, Bomi Gandhi and Zahir Zaiwalla defeated Zubin Gandhi and Hoshedar Raja. In the Instant Doubles, Percy Mehta and Yezdi Diventri beat Farokh Tatary and Soli Cooper. A large number of juniors and seniors took part in the various categories. Viraf Chiniwalla, proprietor of Veldon Coats, was the chief guest and distributed the prizes.
