Appeal for funds

The Vakil Unjooman Aaduraan at Khamasa, Ahmedabad, will soon commence the 75th year of its existence. Despite periodic maintenance, the building and structure are in need of repairs, involving an anticipated expenditure of Rs 15 lakhs. The trustees of the Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat appeal to all Zoroastrians to contribute to this worthy cause, especially those in and from Ahmedabad, even if now settled elsewhere. Each donation of Rs 10,000 and above will be acknowledged with an inscription in Gujarati on a marble plaque.

Donations are exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Cheques should be drawn in favor of the "Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat” and sent to the Joint Secretaries, Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat, Khamasa Gate, Ahmedabad 380001.
