“Fighting an enemy”
Along with the article "Fighting an enemy that does not exist” (Parsiana, February 21, 2008), you have published a photograph captioned: "K. N. Dastoor hecking the speaker.” This is really shameful. If a person in the audience stands up to ask a question, how does it become heckling?
The person who wrote the caption perhaps has no knowledge of who K. N. Dastoor is and what he stands for. Dastoor is probably the one person who has deeper understanding and knowledge of our Zarathushti religion than almost anyone else.
And did Kersey Antia, the so-called dastur answer Dastoor’s question?

The Editors reply
According to Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, 10th edition, the meaning of the word ‘heckle’ is: "to harass and try to disconcert with questions, challenges or gibes.” Allowing for the charged atmosphere at the function, we believe the photo was appropriately captioned.
