Drinking and driving

The attention of the community is drawn to new rules regarding driving after consuming alcoholic drinks. Offenders are put behind bars as well as fined. So far there have been 16 confirmed cases where offenders were sentenced from three to five days in prison along with a fine. Since Parsis enjoy drinks during navjotes and weddings, a fact known to everybody including the police, it would be wise for those who intend to drive their cars or ride their scooters while returning not to consume alcohol during such functions.
