Ethnic identity
I received my first copy of Parsiana. My views are at variance with some of the views expressed in it by the readers.
To strive for ethnic identity is neither fundamentalism nor bigotry. If our forefathers had not been vigilant perhaps we could not have existed as Parsis.
Those who overtly or covertly support and encourage intercaste marriages and conversion, and those who try to drive a wedge between race and religion are neither serving race nor religion. For us race and religion are two sides of the same coin.
We could survive the onslaught of the enemies in the past but can we survive when it comes from our own flesh and blood?
