Not Bardoli-Dastur

For the last few years the chief executive officer of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet is being referred to as "Mr B. T. Bardoli Dastur” by the Parsi Press.

Our Anjuman has received several letters, e-mails and phone calls protesting against the name of Bardoli being maliciously used to portray Dastur.

Therefore the trustees and office bearers of the Bardoli Jarthosti Anjuman, at a meeting held on July 25, 2005 have unanimously passed the following resolution: "Resolved that strong protests be lodged with all the Parsi publications informing them of the concern expressed by Bardoli Jarthosti Anjuman against maligning the name of Bardoli in context with their reference to Mr B. T. Dastur as Mr B. T. Bardoli Dastur and immediate steps be taken to clear the misconception as the said Mr B. T. Dastur is in no way connected with Bardoli.
