“The Surat impasse”

In "The Surat impasse” (Parsiana, August 2002) there is a reference to my name along with the names of Dr Minoo Parabia and Eruch Lakdawala of the Jarthosti Dharma and Samaj Seva Samiti, Surat. I guess the name should be Noshir Dordy and not Noshir Daboo.

Please note that I have nothing to do with the long simmering differences between the above Samiti and the Surat Parsi Panchayat (SPP).

Before 1984 I had served for 15 years the institutions under the SPP but I am presently a resident of Ahmedabad.

In the process of transcribing the names from Gujarati to English the error had first crept in our story "Landing in trouble” (Parsiana, August 2000) and has recurred here. Parsiana regrets the error.
