Locks of Love

Seven-year-old Serena Setna had heard of a program "Locks of Love,” requiring the donation of hair for child patients of cancer who had lost their own in the course of treatment with chemotherapy. Serena grew her hair for nearly four years, notes an item in Manashni (July 2005), the newsletter of the Zoroastrian Association of Houston. Then, escorted by her mother Fiona, Serena went over to their haridresser Mahnaz Firozgary who trimmed off 13 inches to send to "Locks of Love,” states the writeup
