Delivering a song
"An actor should be ready to experiment with anything new,” commented actor Boman Irani referring to the title track that he will be singing for Sujoy Ghosh’s new film Home Delivery where Irani plays the role of a pizza delivery boy. The others starring in the film are Vivek Oberoi, Ayesha Takia and Mahima Chowdhury. Referring to the music composition by Vishal-Shekhar, Irani told the Mumbai Mirror of July 31, 2005: "It has a certain rhythm to it and value adds to the film tremendously… While Vishal-Shekhar were there to see that I hit all the right notes, Sujoy saw to it that I put in the right emotion.”
Apparently Irani’s debut on stage saw him singing for a musical called Roshni after which he lent his voice to another musical Jesus Christ Superstar.

Irani: ready to experiment
Gaining in versatility and experience, Irani is yet in awe of seniors like Amitabh Bachchan, he confessed to the Bombay Times of July 14, 2005: "In Waqt I had a scene in which I had to mouth dialogs like ‘Tu, tu to kuch bhi nahin hain (you are a nonentity)…’ Now catch me saying something like that to a legendary actor like him. That’s when it gets tough, and the actor in me has to completely take over in order to give a good performance.”
