The WZO board

Of the 35 member board of directors of the World Zoroastrian Organisation 10 are due to retire and offer themselves for reelection at its annual general meeting slated for September 19, 2004. They include chairman Rumi Sethna, joint honorary secretary Sammy Bhiwandi­walla, social secretary Noshir Umrigar and religious coordinator Shahin Bekhradnia from the UK and Dr Russi Bulsara of Canada, Dadi Engineer and Dinshaw Tamboly of India, Rustom Ghadiali of Singapore and Dhunmai Dalal and Prof Kaikhosrov Irani of the USA.

Other members who continue as office bearers include president Rustam Dubash, vice president Keki Bhote, joint honorary secretary Darayus Motivala, social secretary Tehmi Patel, membership secretary Khurshid Kapadia and honorary treasurer Framroze Joshi. Also on the board are Shahpur Captain, Sohrab Felfeli and Dr Goodafreed Irani from the UK, Sarosh Bana, Dinyar Modi, Dadi Mistry and Mani Clubwala from India; Dr Mahyar Ardeshiri and Rostam Yaganegi from Iran; Dr Jehan Bagli, Marzi Byramjee and Rohinton Minwalla from Canada; Dr Meherwan Boyce and Dr Kersi Antia from the US; Dr Sam Kerr, Hutoxy Cowasjee, Kamran Jamshidi and Abtine Sassanfar from Australia, Pakistan, Sweden and France respectively.

UK’s Havovy Fernandes, India’s Homi Bodhanwalla, USA’s Dr Farhang Mehr and Adi Davar had resigned on September 28, 2003.
