Cawasji commemorated

On the first death anniversary of their late president Kali D. Cawasji on May 19, 2004, The Bangalore Parsee Zoroastrian Anjuman organized a jashan after which his portrait was unveiled by his wife Jasmine at the Bai Dhunmai and Seth Cawasji Dadabhai Dar-e-Meher. His frame "now occupies a pride of place among the other illustrious Zarathushtis whose portraits adorn the walls of our fire-temple,” wrote the present president P. B. Bharda.

Dastur Nadir-shah Unvalla then spoke of Cawasji’s dedication to the Zoroastrian faith, his devotion to duty and his leadership qualities as trustee of the Bangalore Anjuman for over three decades and its president for the last 15 years. With his abiding faith in the age-old customs and precepts of the Zoroastrian faith he contributed significantly to the progress of the Anjuman, added Unvalla.
