“The taj of the Tatas”

In "The taj of the Tatas” (Parsiana, October 2003) it says the philanthropist Bapsey Sabavala once rode a horse up the staircase en route to a Crystal Room fund raiser. It was not Sabavala but my late father-in-law Jimmy S. Bharucha, the famous horse and dog trainer who rode his horse Attataurke up the steps of the Taj Mahal Hotel on the night of October 14, 1952. Bharucha expired on May 30, 2000.
