Hope for a Parsi birth

I am a subscriber to your magazine Parsiana even though a non-Parsi. I am connected with the Parsi community in and around Poona being a tax consultant to many Parsis. My involvement with this great community is not only professional but being in close association with many Parsi stalwarts I am always awed by their philanthropic nature, industrial acumen, professional expertise and disciplined life.

I was worried when I read in the Marathi daily Sakal (April 17, 2003) that this great community may dwindle to about 23,000 by the year 2020. In the present world it is very difficult to find any other community which values honesty, truth and nationalism.

Maybe in my next birth I will be born a Parsi — pure, honest, true — a person who cares for the nation to which he belongs. I do believe in good thoughts, good words and good deeds.
