BPP's new committees

The trustees of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP), with a view to being more proactive and transparent have decided to form small groups/committees that would undertake responsibility of various portfolios within the BPP.

The details of the portfolios and the names of the trustees who would be handling them are provided for the information of the community. The community will be kept informed about the functioning of each group through periodic press releases.

Projects/acquisitions: Minoo Shroff (chair), Dinshaw Mehta, Dinshaw Tamboly, Maneck Engineer and Burjor Antia
Repairs and renovations: Mehta (chair) and Maneck Engineer
Finance/resources: Shroff (chair), Dadi Engineer, Tamboly and Antia
Legal: Dadi Engineer (chair), Mehta and Antia
Housing: Shroff (chair) and all other trustees
Education: Tamboly (chair), Silloo Kavarana and Mehta
Religion: Antia (chair), Dadi Engineer, Kavarana and Mehta
Doongerwadi: Kavarana (chair), Tamboly, Maneck Engineer and Antia
Youth affairs: Tamboly (chair), Shroff, Kavarana, Dadi Engineer and Antia
The trustees are keen to draw on the experience of other community members who will be co-opted on the committees.
