Duties of BPP trustees

The new lot of Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) trustees has been elected for a seven-year term and the Parsi community has put on its thinking cap to indicate to them that so many things need to be done. The trustees are elected to look after the trusts and properties of the Bombay Punchayet and all matters pertaining to the Zoroastrian religion should be referred to the Council of Vada Dasturs for their opinion.
It would be a good idea if this interpretation is codified for implementation from 2015 onward. Parsis should know what the BPP trustees can legally do or not do for them. SOLI ARCEIVALA
