Dastur’s internships at the Langham Hilton in London (February-July 2001) and at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Bombay (January-June 2002) helped her gain "valuable knowledge and experience required in this profession.”
"Anahita proved herself very worthy of the financial support extended to her,” mentions Behram Dastur, chief executive of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet which was one of the institutions which supported her foreign education. Other trusts like the J. N. Tata Endowment, R. D. Sethna Charities, M. K. Tata Trust and the World Zoroastrian Organisation too financed Anahita after she graduated with a first class in commerce from Bombay’s H. R. College of Commerce and Economics, states the release.
