Taleyarkhan Chowk
An important junction leading to the Iranshah was named the Padma Shri Homi Taleyarkhan Chowk at a function in Udvada on November 10, 2002. The plaque at the junction was unveiled at the hands of Dastur Khurshed Dastoor in the presence of outstanding professionals who had worked with Taleyar-khan on the Save Udwada Trust (SUT).
Chief guest Ervad Burjor Antia referred to the services rendered to the nation by Taleyarkhan when he was Ambassador of Italy and Libya and when he was minister of Maharashtra and governor of Sikkim.

Prior to his demise in 1998 Tale-yarkhan had taken a keen interest in developing the Udvada township and in protecting it from the ravages of the advancing sea, it was recalled by his colleagues on the SUT, chairman Temas Pandol, Dr Z. S. Tarapore, Prof Minoo Parabia, Dr Vispy Meher-Homji and Ajay Vasani. The resurfacing of the road leading from the town to the Udvada station as also the halting of certain trains at this station for the convenience of Parsi pilgrims had been possible thanks to his intervention, it had been acknowledged.
Taleyarkhan’s wife Thrity finally thanked all those who had contributed towards erecting this memorial landmark.
