Clarity and charity

Earlier, our forefathers, in mind, had clarity.
They believed in kunashni, hence, all the charity.
And did a lot of good for the entire society.
Today, there has been a drastic change in trend.
We are sadly just going around the bend.
Refusing to stay united and our ways mend.
Hatred has taken over love and respect.
Ever ready we are to pounce at and spoil every aspect.
Don’t you think Parsa-Putra, we need to introspect?
Modernization is good; but not the ultramod ways.
Destroy we cannot, the greatness of bygone days.
Ensure we should, that our religion prospers and stays.
