IASAP Poona is 30

The Poona chapter of the Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (IASAP) celebrated its 30th anniversary this year with a live cookery demonstration on April 26, 2017, Administrative Professionals’ Day, notes a press release from Jasmine Jogi, chairperson of the chapter. The note mentions that International Administrative Professionals Week is celebrated from April 23 to 29 globally.

In another event on April 29 at Vivanta by Taj Blue Diamond, guest speaker Col Rajinder Singh Bhatia, president and chief executive officer of defense and aerospace division of Kalyani Group spoke on the year’s theme of "Shaping attitudes — honing skills.” Vice chairperson Uma Nandedkar proposed a vote of thanks.
Beroze Divecha functions as the honorary treasurer of the chapter and Preeti Purswani as honorary secretary. Committee members include Bakhtawar Battiwalla, Dilnawaz Nekoo, Anita Martyres, Seema Kudiya and Lata Khedkar. The chapter has over 240 members, mentions the press release.
Set up in 1970 as National Institute of Personal Secretaries, IASAP is a representative body of secretaries and administrative professionals in India with seven chapters including Poona. Its objective, among others, as per its website, is to "provide knowledge, opportunities and resources to members in their quest for excellence.”
