Lunching with the boss

Efforts are being made to start a new chapter of the Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (IASAP) in Baroda, stated Homai Mehta, president emeritus of the Association. She was speaking at the annual boss-secretary lunch, a 30-year tradition, held at Vivanta by Taj President which co-sponsored it along with Blue Dart Express Limited, on April 27, 2016, notes an email received by Parsiana from Zarine Commissariat, IASAP past president, who was compere that day. The all India body has six existing chapters.
"Innovate, integrate, motivate,” the theme of IASAP for the current year, was the brainchild of Shera Langrana, past president. Farhat Jamal, senior vice president – operations, West and Africa of the Taj Group of Hotels, released the IASAP newsletter, The Professional Secretary edited by Moti Vazifdar, past president. Balfour Manuel, senior vice president and regional head – West, Blue Dart released a booklet, The History and Milestones. A vote of thanks was given by IASAP honorary secretary Vimala D’Souza.
