HC: Expedite Cama case

Justice Sharukh J. Kathawalla of the Bombay High Court on November 30, 2016 granted the Charity Commissioner (CC) an additional eight weeks to dispose of the matter pertaining to the validity of Muncherji Cama’s (pictured) resignation as a trustee from the Bombay Parsi Punchayet. Two days earlier Kathawalla instructed the CC to be present in court as the CC sought "six months’ time to comply with the order dated October 4, 2016” wherein the CC had been directed to finish the matter in six weeks. Accordingly, the Joint CC Sunita Tarar and the Assistant CC S. V. Pimple were present in the court.
Kathawalla noted his order of November 30 was passed as "the change report was pending before the CC since the year 2015.”
