A greater right

Who is more entitled to have a navjote, the child of a Parsi mother or a Parsi father? When a child is born we can be sure who the mother is. Can we be just as certain about who the father is? A child born of a Parsi mother offers that certainty and has therefore a greater right to be called a Parsi and should be entitled to be a Zarathushti. JEHANGIR SAROSH
