Headed for Hong Kong

Senior philatelist Vispi S. Dastur has been appointed a jury member at the 2015 31st Asian International Stamp Exhibition scheduled from November 20-23, 2015 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. President of the Empire of India Philatelic Society and founder member of the Government of India’s Philatelic Advisory Committee, Dastur has authored two publications on the subject and is the first Parsi to have successfully completed his jury apprenticeship for the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately and the Federation of International Philately, mentions an email received by Parsiana.

Vispi Dastur: stamp on philately

A chartered accountant by profession, he heads V. S. Dastur and Company in Bombay. Active in community work, Dastur is president of the Bombay Parsee Association and the Iran League, among other associations.
