“The prodigal returns”
Jamshed Irani’s reply to the letter "The prodigal returns” (Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, February 21, 2015) seemed to defend interfaith marriages. It is indeed good to live in harmony, but not at the cost of perishing. Can he tell us how many children from such marriages practice Parsipanu and are practicing Zarthoshtis?
People try to cover up their faults and indifference towards our religion. Living in harmony is one thing, and self-destruction is another. It is up to each one of us to decide on which road to tread. Will it be self-annihilation by being ultra modern and selfish? May good sense prevail.
