The function was attended by participants from all over India and abroad, mentions a press release received by Parsiana from Dr Meher Master-Moos, president of the College. Persons from different faiths recited prayers at the opening ceremony, with Ervad Adiba Govadia reciting the Zoroastrian prayers.
Hemraj’s book, priced at Rs 800 (available from the publisher Vinay Kumar Avasthi, Bhuvan Vani Trust, Mausam Bagh, Sitapur Road, Lucknow 226020, Uttar Pradesh) would be very useful for teaching young Zoroastrians, especially priests, the correct way in which to pronounce Gathic Avestan words, the press release notes.
