Many other major clubs and gymkhanas are helmed by Parsis. Senior counsel Jamshed Cama is president of the tony Willingdon Sports Club, solicitor Darius Udwadia heads Bombay Gymkhana while Tata director and community activist Homi Khusrokhan is president of The Club Mahabaleshwar. At India’s only club exclusively for women, the Princess Victoria Mary Gymkhana and Gymnasium, the de facto president is always the wife of the Governor of Maharashtra. However, the PVM, as it is popularly known, is run by a managing committee headed by vice presidents Homai Levi and Nergish Navlakhi with honorary secretaries Jeroo Contractor and Khorshed Antia.
