Errata
Jamshed Fozdar has clarified that in his letter "Parsis and prejudice" (Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, September 7, 2014) some sentences are not historically accurate. He has issued a correction: "Maneckji Limji Hataria is indeed the great 19th century emancipator of his much persecuted co-religionists, the Zoroastrians of Iran. They had been suffering under the fanatical Muhammadan Qajar dynasty, the very same that had executed his holiness the Bab just a few years earlier and slaughtered thousands of his followers, while imprisoning and torturing Baha’u’llah and finally exiling him and his entire family to the confines of the Ottoman empire in the city of Baghdad, Iraq…"
In "The scholarly dozen," (Parsiana, September 21, 2014) it was erroneously mentioned that Kaivan Wadia hails from Poona. Wadia is from Porbandar.
