Reader Farida Mullan has sent an email pointing out that in "Community colonization” (Editorial Viewpoint, Parsiana, February 21, 2014) it is stated that Murzban Colony, named after Muncherjee Murzban, is also known as Lal Batti. The Colony, located on Dr A. B. Nair Road is known as Lal Chimney, not Lal Batti. Parsiana regrets the error.

In "Raising the bar,” (Parsiana, March 7, 2014) when introducing the siblings of Sarosh Zaiwalla we had mentioned that one of his brothers Khushru "combines both farming and law.”
Taking umbrage at this introduction, Khushru Zaiwala stated in a letter to Parsiana:
"This innuendo is not only plainly derogatory, but also an outright attempt to damage the reputation of a professional person, being prime facie defamatory in nature.
"You may be aware that as a person in public life, I have been practicing as an advocate in the Bombay High Court for the last 43 years, and it was my good fortune to also be on the board of (the) managing committee of (the) Bombay High Court Bar Library for almost 11 years.”
Parsiana regrets any unintentional embarrassment or offence caused to Khushru Zaiwala.

The trustees of the Zoroastrian Community Trust (ZCT) of New Zealand have written to point out that in the article "Rewind and fast forward” (Parsiana, April 7, 2014) on the presentation by the president of the Zoroastrian Association of New Zealand (ZANZ) at the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress in Bombay in December 2013 the statement "ZANZ is working towards raising funds for a fire temple and hall where the community can meet for prayers and social events” is incorrect. It is the ZCT, a registered charitable trust set up in March 2007, whose objective it is to build a community center and a place of worship for the Zoroastrian community in New Zealand.
Parsiana regrets the error.
