Errata

The piece "Parsis of the RBI" (Parsiana, September 21, 2014) lists the names of illustrious persons who served on the central board of the Reserve Bank of India. It has been brought to our attention that F. E. Dinshaw and Sir Homi Mody, whose names were mentioned, were not on the board, but R. P. Masani and Homi Mehta, whose names were not listed, had served as directors.

In the item "Tackling TB in the city" (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, August 21, 2014) it was stated that a letter was written to the Prime Minister’s Office by Adi Godrej, chairman of the Godrej Group. Dr Nerges Mistry of The Foundation for Medical Research has written to clarify that the letter was written by Jamshyd Godrej, managing director of Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited, and not Adi Godrej. She has revealed that she had also informed Mumbai Mirror, from which the information was gleaned by Parsiana, about the error.
