Funds for animal shelter

The Probably Paradise Shelter is a Parsi run establishment for animals of all kinds, located in Takve village, about 11 km from Karjat in Maharashtra. We are looking for sponsors/donors to support our work for the welfare of the animals in our care. We also require volunteers and experts to work alongside us to establish a long-term haven for older and handicapped animals.

Animals of all sorts are cared for, rehabilitated and their natural behavior reinstated at Probably Paradise Shelter

The focus in our shelter is not just on rehabilitation but also reinstating natural behavior in animals. The one-and-a-half acres of land offer most animals enough space to make their own territory without feeling stressed out about competing with other dominating species or dangerous city situations. However, we are not a dumping ground for all city animals and their offspring.
We have started a medical room to enable local villagers to come to for emergency advice and first aid treatment when no professional help is available. Donor funds and helping hands will make a big difference by ensuring sustained care, maintenance and the launch of a transport vehicle for animals. Funds will also be used for feed and treatment expenses, staff and education on animal welfare.
Our nation and religion require us to be one with animals, which has been recently endorsed by our legal system. Today our efforts are minuscule compared with the magnitude of the problem.
