Yazdi Tantra: SMS Seva
When contacted by Parsiana over the telephone, Tantra revealed that there are at present 3,000 registered subscribers many of whom have called in to say they are "very happy" with the service. In fact, they would like to receive alerts about paidasts as well, but that is not logistically feasible as the funeral would most likely be over before the message is received, Tantra stated. He also revealed that they have a free Parsi Family App for android devices which anyone can download from the Android Play Store. "This is another service where we carry news and events of the community right to their smart phones," he added in a subsequent email.
