Parsi Directory app

By Sherene Vakil · October 7, 2016
TheParsiDirectory.com, which was started over 10 years ago, has 78,800 live registrations today, making it "the largest free worldwide listing of Parsis, Iranis, Zoroastrians across the world,” writes Yazdi Tantra of On-Lyne Solutions, in an email to Parsiana. "To extend the awareness and reach out further to the global and non-computer enabled audience, we have now launched an Android App called The Parsi Directory,” he writes. The App is not available for iPhones "at the moment,” says Tantra.
"Within a month of its launch, we have received a very encouraging response from the global community, with over 1,000 downloads, more than 10,000 searches yielding more than 100,000 results,” Tantra shares. The App is free and will enable Zoroastrians in the diaspora to connect better and also enable non-Zoroastrians to find long lost friends by requesting information. Innumerable businesses have been discovered and trade/commerce generated online. Institutions like agiaries, associations, baugs for weddings and navjotes, dharamshalas, sanatoriums across the world are listed.
Follow the link (https://goo.gl/XNDVBN) to download it from Play Store. After installing the App and registering, people will have direct access to all registered users based on name, location, profession or any combination of these, as well as more than 750 Parsi institutions from all over the world. People will also have the option to subscribe to roz, salgirah, uthamna and Z-News worldwide, Tantra states.
