“His grandfather’s house”
"His grandfather’s house”
The photograph accompanying the item "His grandfather’s house” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, November 21, 2013) is not of the Press Club of India, of which I have been a member for 20 years. This is not a multi-storey structure, and has just one floor.
I was not aware that it was the former residence of the late Feroze Gandhi. I had always been told that it had been used as barracks for soldiers during World War II. The photograph which has been published with the item is perhaps that of the Press Information Bureau, though I am not certain. GULU EZEKIEL
