“Alliterations galore”

By Edited by Sherene Vakil · February 7, 2014
"Alliterations galore”
Indeed I can effortlessly beat Kersi Meher-Homji’s 17-barreled "woofer.” Herewith a counter-irritant for his alliteration woes ("Alliterations galore,” Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, December 21, 2013) — assuming c=k in all cases. It should make some sense after a 15th reading:
"Could canny killjoy complainant Kersi kindly control composing controversially compromising, caviling, carping, confusion-causing ‘Crease!’ — crying catchily chaotic comments concerning cleverly crafted, creatively configured, cunningly concealed contents connectedly captioned, cacologically comfortless cricketing kinetics?”
Alternatively, would "Bat and baton” mollify him were it to be headed "Bash and smash?” There’s no substitute for levity — more so in these troubled times.
