Centrally located, the Agiary has over the years served the Zoroastrian community not only in bringing them solace and peace but also as a popular venue for navjotes and weddings. With the new multi-purpose hall, which would be ideal for small functions of up to 100 guests, there is an additional community facility, the write-up notes.
As part of its ongoing endeavor to improve and beautify the surroundings, the Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy Poona Fire Temple Fund is in the process of constructing a modern residential facility within the Agiary’s compound. To be named Maneck Baug, this will have six self-contained air-conditioned rooms, serving as a boon for patrons residing outside Poona. For inquiries, the manager Hoshidar Yazdabadi may be contacted by telephone at 09175618091, the write-up mentions.
