Celebrations in Delhi
The Delhi Parsi Anjuman (DPA) celebrated Jamshedi Navroz with a function on March 21 at which the Lt Governor of Delhi Tejendra Khanna was chief guest. Industrialist Anu Aga was felicitated on her appointment as Member of Parliament and Cmde Aspi Cawasji honored on being conferred the Vishisht Seva medal. Dadi Mistry, patron, and Yezad Kapadia, president of DPA respectively felicitated the Lt Governor, mentions an email received by Parsiana from Veera Mavalwala, joint secretary of the Anjuman.
Also present were Aga’s daughter Meher Pudumjee, managing director of Thermax and Homai Engineer, chairman and managing director of Industrial Boilers who was recently awarded The Entrepreneur of the Year by the World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce. Founder trustee of Parzor Dr Shernaz Cama, Ava Khullar, scholars of Zoroastrianism Anton Zytov and Reza Balkh, made a presentation on "Manuscripts and Miracles — The Meherjirana Story.”
The evening ended with music, dancing and a dinner catered by Dhun Bagli, the email concludes.
