“Communication...”
I would like to draw attention to a discrepancy in the article "Communication between chapters — II” (Business, Parsiana, February 21, 2012) where it is mentioned that Madison was started by Sam Balsara.
The company was started by Darius Lawyer and Sadiq Ali Khan who were later joined by Firoze Elavia. After Khan and Lawyer retired Elavia was the sole owner until such time as Balsara joined him. After Elavia left, only Balsara remained. JEROO CAMA

We are not fully aware of the previous owners of Madison, but we do know that the firm changed many hands prior to 1988. My dad, Sam Balsara, took it over from Firoze Elavia, when he was the sole proprietor, on March 21, 1988. Elavia continued as a dormant partner for a few years and then quit. Madison had only one or two accounts when my dad took over — one was Kuwait Airways which Elavia continued to handle, but it also soon exited. The first two major accounts that my dad brought into the agency were Godrej and Nelco which took the firm into the big league.
