Gatha talk

"In the Gathas, Zarathushtra details several principles that have made Zoroastrianism the most rational religion in the world and, more important, one that is ideally suited to fit the yearnings of the modern man” stated Gatha enthusiast Kersee Kabraji addressing a gathering at the K. R. Cama Oriental Institute on November 5, 2011.

His 75 minute PowerPoint presentation centred around the message of the Gathas, a scripture which he believes "has come directly from” the Prophet. "All other scriptures have been written by his followers at different times as per their understanding and misunderstanding of Zarathushtra’s teaching.”
Introducing the speaker, Kerssie Wadia of the Association for the Revival of Zoroastrianism said Kabraji "claimed he is not a scholar and not a student.” The Poona resident has given "his presentation throughout India. This is the first time he is amongst us” in Bombay, said Wadia. He termed the talk "a scholarly treat, and one that is done as a service to the community and the religion.”
Terming himself neither "a reformist nor an orthodox person,” Kabraji says he likes to read literature on Zoroastrianism and "compiled the presentation based on published books and papers.”
