ID cards for agiaries?

Is the harebrained idea of producing proof of Parsi parentage before entering an agiary that of the World Alliance of Parsi Irani Zarthoshtis (WAPIZ) and the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP)? As it is attendance is falling at fire temples. Such a scheme will cause attendance to fall further and our places of worship will languish even more.

WAPIZ and the BPP should do some more constructive work rather than meddling with religion to minimize friction in their own fold. Let them heavily subsidize the sale of sudrehs and kustis, close down agiaries that are languishing and shift the fires to those that have regular attendees and devotees.
