Jhansi Anjuman update

Every year the Jhansi Parsi Anjuman has a jashan ceremony performed on Fravardin mah, Fravardin roz at the aramgah and on the following day on Bahram roz at the dharamshala. The last jashan was performed by Ervad Rummy Panthaky of Bombay, after which there was a humbandagi. Two minutes’ si- lence was observed in memory of Jamshed N. Guzder, chairman emeritus of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet.

During 2010 the Jhansi Anjuman has received donations from the following persons and trusts: Nadir B. Godrej: Rs

Minoo Naval Unwalla: Rs 25,000; Zeno Adil Bharucha of Poona: Rs 500. With a total of Rs 1,30,000 received, renova- tion work of the dharamshala has begun. Members of the Jhansi Anjuman are thankful to the donors for their kind contribution.
