“The best seat in the game”

Your article on international cricket umpire Shahvir Tarapore ("The best seat in the game,” Sports, Parsiana, July 7, 2010) mentions two additional prominent Parsi umpires, Piloo Reporter and Dara Dotiwala.

Noshirwan D. Nagarwalla: umpire, player, coach

There are others of note, namely Bomi Ardeshir Jamula (five one-day inter-nationals from 1990 to 1999) and the late Noshirwan Dorabji Nagarwalla who stood in five Test matches from 1952 to 1960 and was a prominent player and coach as well. There is also the late Jamshed "Jesi” Rustomji Patel (nine Tests from 1948-58).
The list is not exhaustive. There may be others I have failed to mention.
