Gaiety at Gamadia Colony
Gamadia Colony residents celebrated, with fervor, fun and gaiety the Dae mah thanksgiving jashan on June 12, 2010. Organized by the Gamadia Colony Association, the jashan was, as always, held at the Sethna Agiary hall in Tardeo.
An added feature of this year’s celebrations was the entertainment program coordinated by 17-year-old resident Dinaz Aspi Driver. Tiny tots, teenagers and mothers alike from the Colony grooved to popular Bollywood numbers choreographed by Vahishta Gotla and Nekzad Malegamwalla of Ahura Gen X group.

After the dance performances, the young and old in the audience had great fun playing the ever popular game of housie.
The lively evening, as per true Parsi tradition, ended with a sumptuous buffet of Russian pattice, chicken moghlai, mutton biryani and soft drinks provided by Allahrakha Caterers at a very nominal rate of Rs 120 per person. For those with a sweet tooth, the mango kulfi made a memorable mouthful.
