Golden Palette for Natasha
Ten-year-old Natasha Yazdi Umrigar of Baroda who participated in "The small Monmartre of Bitola — 2009,” an international drawing competition held every year at Macedonia, Europe since the past 27 years, was awarded the Golden Palette Certificate for her entry. She was one of the 20 child artists from The Hobby Centre, Baroda whose entry had been sent for the competition, as per information provided to Parsiana by her mother Dinaz.

Natasha Umrigar: gifted child artist
The Certificate was sent to The Hobby Centre in June 2009 and Umrigar received her award at a prize distribution ceremony of the Centre amid much cheering from peers, press reporters and academicians. Baroda’s local Gujarati language daily, Divya Bhaskar, covered the event. The Golden Palette is a diploma awarded by the children’s art studio "St Cyril and Methodus” — Bitola R. Macedonia for the "best single creations at the XXVII Exhibition,” as per the legend on the Certificate which carries a reproduction of a bronze statuette of a mother and child.
