Zoroastrians Abroad
Vania’s corporate service
Toronto’s Phee Vania spent a month in the Philippines instilling the culture of excellence in the City Tourism Operations Office in Davao city to help boost its tourism industry. A global program manager in IBM Canada, Vania was one of 100 IBMers chosen from among 5,500 applicants to contribute much needed skills in emerging market countries, notes the newsletter of the Zoroastrian Society of Ontario (ZSO). She also mentored the University of Mindanao’s human resource director, and designed and developed a Career Awareness Day that is now being replicated in other countries.

Phee Vania: transferring skills
Vania, daughter of WZCC (World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce) president Bomi Boyce, had organized the highly successful XIV NA Zoroastrian Congress hosted by ZSO in 2007.
