Club’s appeal for funds

The Time and Talents Club, a charitable organization, was formed in 1934 for helping the poor and needy of our society, mainly with medical aid and educational assistance. Last year we were able to help 200 cancer patients (including children), 100 patients with renal failure and 230 other people with other ailments. We gave educational assistance to 40 blind students and 200 students studying in the fields of medicine, engineering, information technology, management studies and other disciplines.

Unfortunately we are forced, through paucity of funds, to disburse less than we would like to. The costs are soaring, particularly so for cancer treatment.

To augment the help we give, especially for children with cancer, we are holding a special charity bazar at the YMCA grounds on November 15, 2008. We appeal to the large hearted public of Bombay to assist us in our endeavor.
