Amateur Artistes appeal

The Amateur Artistes Association over the years has assisted the student community from the weaker section of society. It is rightly said that "Education is an ornament in prosperity and a refuge in adversity.”

You will be happy to know that during the year ended March 31, 2005 several students were assisted by way of scholarships, educational assistance and distribution of free books.

We would greatly appreciate voluntary contributions from all our members and donors, some of whom have themselves, at some time, received assistance from our organization and are now well placed in life.

We could thus continue to aid and assist the younger members of the society in the field of education. Contributions may please be sent to the undersigned at B-17, Rustom Baug, Sant Savta Marg, Byculla, Bombay 400027, tel 23720443.

For large corpus donation special Endowment Funds can be set up in memory of the deceased.
