Ushta-te’s activities
The role of the yazatas and the assistance the invokers can receive from these divine helpers provided they are approached was highlighted by Ervad (Dr) Ramiyar Karanjia when addressing the audience at the interactive session organized by the Ushta-te Study Circle, of the eponymous Foundation in Ahmedabad on September 8, 2007. In his simple and lucid style Karanjia provided listeners with enlightening and useful information and explanations. Even at the end of two hours many from the audience were still keen to get answers to their queries, a fact that induced a feeling of satisfaction in the organizers, Shirin Kanga wrote in an e-mail to Parsiana.
The following morning, Karanjia met the children of Ahmedabad, along with their parents, and demonstrated how religious knowledge can be passed on to the young ones via the fun way. The eminent scholar became a friend to the children who were simply delighted. The organizers, parents and teachers were proud and happy at the manner in which the youngsters responded to Karanjia’s questions.
