Parsi prayers in Water

Recently I had occasion to view Deepa Mehta’s movie Water and was pleasantly surprised to hear, in the early part of the same, a short recital of our prayers Baname khuda, etc, in the background.

I wonder if any other Parsi viewers noticed this? I would also be interested to know the reason, if any, for introducing the prayers in the movie.
